Kenny-Whelan are sourcing an IT Support (Industrial) for our client, a Global manufacturing plant located in Macroom Co. Cork

Reporting to the Industrial IT Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, day to day support, development and security of the Industrial applications including Siemens/GEA, Wonderware (CID, Seefin, SPX), Oracle (WISE MES) whilst ensuring that equipment, software, and hardware are up to date with patches, antivirus, and software versions.

Providing support on MES issues, assisting relevant groups on problem resolution, continuous improvement and involvement in short and long-term projects and preparing design specifications for new project installations and modifications to existing systems.

Main responsibilities include:

·       Front line daily Support

·       Hardware Administration

·       Hardware Replacement

·       Network Administration

·       Network Maintenance

·       Applications Support

·       Consulting with Third Party Vendors

·       Project Support

·       Disaster Recovery

·       Future proofing systems and applications

·       Cyber Security support and implementation

·       Act as support IT contact for all industrial functions including Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Quality &

Support engineering - responsible for solving issues, driving enhancements, and improving support for all IT related functions: application support, infrastructure support, and service delivery. Support MES applications which include Siemens, Oracle, Wonderware, SAP, OPC, SQL. Ensure Servers, Desktops and Laptops are up to date with security patches, antivirus and software versions including Firewalls, Wifi, LAN, WAN are up to date.  Support all aspects of Hardware including CISCO, Siemens, PLC’s, VPN

Professional experience

·Experience in computer troubleshooting or a similar technical field with Industrial IT work experience in a GMP manufacturing environment an advantage

·Familiarity with computer hardware, software, operations, and common problems.

·Proficient in the use of Office 365

·Proficient numerical ability to record interpret and analyse key process data

· Appetite for challenge and aptitude for change in a fast-paced 24/7 FMCG environment, fast paced, high-volume, high-tech manufacturing environment with demonstrable and transferable skills
